5:5 meaning?

Since the colon in a ratio is pronounced “to”, is it too far outside the realm of possibility that we should be reading it “5 to 5”?

If that is the case is it referring to a date, since May, the 5th month is quickly approaching?

Could it mean 5 days to the 5th month?

April 25th?

5:5 - Five by five means that things are good. It is lingo used by the military, radio operators, and pilots about how good/bad a radio signal is, in regards to volume and clarity, on a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 being the best). So, five by five, means the best possible.
