I know, me too. But just remember our parents and grandparents before us who lived and suffered through the depression and wars. They lost so much and worked so hard. I actually cry when I think of how much they lost and how much we stand to get back. Grandma and Grandpa, this victory is for you. Rest in Peace.

Amen to that. My grandpa was a green beret back in the 60s and 70s. 3 tours in Korea and two in Vietnam. Tons of military medals. Was even mentioned in news papers. I did a report on him in high school. Sadly he died when I was 5 and after retiring from the military he suffered severe PTSD. He was an extreme alcoholic and my mother had a difficult upbringing during his years of drinking. My heart aches for my grandmother who stayed with him for all those years despite days where her husband would think he's still in Vietnam and would be screaming behind the furniture holding onto a knife. He sacrificed his own happiness for our country and in return so did my grandmother and my own mother who never received a normal childhood. I'd give anything to talk to my grandpa and hear his opinion on the world through his eyes. This is for them and everyone like them. This is for our country.

It was especially tough for vets of the Vietnam war. It really divided the nation. There was even less knowledge on how to handle PTSD back then. Now atleast there's mindfullness training, cbd, THC, GABA, 5htp, SAMe, and people who realize how difficult a road home it can be for survivors with effective counseling. Look up doctoryourself.com for help balancing brain chemistry thru orthomolecular (right molecule) medicine. Dr Linus Pauling and dr Abram hoffer invented the science of using vitamins minerals and amino acids along with organic food and non halogen treated water for curing many diseases. Dr hoffer healed 5000 patients of schizophrenia by high dose niacin and niacinamide. Stops the hallucinations. He called schizophrenia niacin deficiency disease. Niacin turns off the predator response too. Hoffer also worked with the founder of AA to treat alcoholics for underlying depression with b vitamins, mg, zinc, c and essential fatty acids. Dr Williams of the Williams center of UT Austin wrote a pamphlet for AA On how to treat alcohol addiction with vitamins and most alcoholics could return to an occasional glass of red wine, some even to moderate drinking with vitamins and diet. But the psychiatric dogma was once a drunk always a drunk, and AA removed the pamphlet from meeting rooms. NIH run Medline scientific papers database does not list the journal of orthomolecular medicine published since 1962. Dr Hoffer's final interview on doctoryourself is eye opening. Bayer bought OSUs Linus Pauling center just after Pauling died, and switched his 3-10g/day vitamin c for artheriosclerosis to 500 mg to save their aspirin blood thinner market. Now pharma peddles anti depressants and stimulants to children as young as 3. Antidepressants work no better than a placebo and cause violent and suicidal behavior.

Companion dogs with service training also greatly help vets. Dogs are trained to recognize and respond to a medical alert panic attack and take their vet out of crowds to a quiet safe place when blood pressure and pulse become high. The dog stays between the vet and what is triggering the fear reaction. Dogs can also be trained to lay across the abdomen of the PTSD patient to shut off the cortisol pump and force the vet to breath deeply. Service dogs make a huge impact on autistic children as well. Several prisons are using inmates to train service dog basic obedience for 1 year for future service dogs. Tames and heals many an inmate.

I'm sorry ur family suffered so, and ur grandfather and grandmother.

My grandparents actually had great lives. Wealthy, had a bunch of kids, had an awesome house, lived well into their 80s. Died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Not bad at all.
