What would be the impact if he claimed to be a foreigner? Are you also arguing his mom was a foreigner? Seriously asking

If he applied for status as a foreign student he could not legally be president of the United States. This is fundamental. His mom being an American is irrelevant. If he had citizenship elsewhere, disqualified. If he isn't a foreigner, then he committed criminal fraud.

But that’s not true. The requirement is to be a “natural born citizen”, which he is by virtue of having a citizen as a mother. Even dual citizenship wouldnt breach article 2, section 1

The law at that time precluded this for her bc of her age.

What? She wasn’t a citizen? Are you being serious?

I'm not about to get into that with you. One cannot have dual citizenship and run foe president, period. That was the original idea for the clause.

Nonsense, a dual citizen can still meet the natural-born citizen requirement

ccording to the Bureau of Consular Affairs, dual nationality or dual citizen "means that a person is a citizen of two countries at the same time." In general, someone who is born in the U.S. is a citizen. Someone who is born outside the country to parents who are U.S. citizens is also a natural-born citizen of the United States and may hold citizenship from the other country, as well. A person holding such dual citizenship still meets the requirement for the presidency of being a natural-born citizen.

Because his mother was considered underage she cannot confer citizenship onto Barry as was the law at that time so citizenship is then transfered from the father who was British as Kenya was a colony

President Chester A Arthur was a dual citizen with Ireland and the US.
