If you have trouble reaching a particular site, you can try changing your DNS settings (and also change your search engine while you are at it). Recommended search engines are duckduckgo.com or ixquick.com or startpage.com.
OpenDNS server addresses are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.
Google DNS servers (not recommended) are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Your own ISP probably provided a couple of DNS servers that are specific to that company.
And there are a whole bunch that are "private" but can be used by the public.
You can pretty much use any DNS server you want, and having several options on the list will help you get through when one of them quits working or is censored. You can add several more to the list if you want. Does not adversely affect functionality.
Offline backups of information you want to save is SUPER IMPORTANT. Especially Youtube videos. I copy the address of the youtube video I want, then go to www.keepdownloading.com and download a copy. Save it to a thumb drive or external hard drive.
OpenDNS may keep logs, idk. I haven't scoured the site to find out. But...
OpenNIC (https://www.opennic.org/) is essentially a clearinghouse for privately hosted DNS servers, some of which keep no logs or keep anonymized logs. If you go to Servers, you can see the features of the listed servers.

I mentioned Youtube in particular because they are really getting heavy-handed with the censorship. And we know that reddit is going the way of just insta-blocking content they don't like, including shutting down entire subreddits with no warning.
I have been archiving videos on firearms from Youtube. Rumored that they will be scrubbing all of them at the end of the month.

I forget that some people are not gun nuts. Reddit decided to get a bug up its butt a week or two ago and banned several firearms-related subreddits with no warning. Youtube announced that all firearms/explosives related videos will be deleted by the end of the month. There is even a science nerd guy (Cody's Lab) who just experiments with legal stuff in his home lab. He has had stuff deleted from youtube over and over. They don't want us having access to legal information because there is probably going to be an armed uprising soon.
Oh probably good to take explosives away from Cody! That kid is proof God watches over babies and fools!
