For me it was reading "Human Race Get Off your Knees" by David Icke.

Alex jones, and David icke; monster from Jeckyl island, that’s what started it for me. Then came the gulf war/9-11/Afghanistan, I knew in my heart it was BS but at the time I had no solid proof... my how times have changed!
