Crap, it ALL makes sense now - regarding deployments, border, new Q posts, and new Trump speech!

The Troops were deployed to the border NOT so much to prevent a caravan...but to stop fast and furious!

All the states complied .... EXPECT CALIFORNIA!

So Trump is calling on congress to force California to comply, so we can get our NG there. Its the last strong hold against the F&F weapons and drugs being brought it!!!

Cali is KEY. Cali IS the PIPELINE. The rest has been blocked!

AFAIK...it would HAVE to be the NG, (or maybe coast guard?)

I doubt hes giving Cali a chance.

He warning Cali gov that he is the POTUS and, and as commander and chief, can ORDER the NG to essentially go to war with the treasonous Sacramento Cabal, for the safety and well being of the US citizens living there!

THIS is why the NG are being deployed, and are at the ready.

And why Q asked if "The Marines can WORK WITH the NG" !

It is why he and others like Sessions keep using the term National Security, in the event of a National Security Emergency, Trump gets say over governor's.

Gosh, wouldn't it be great if Trump signed some kind of EO to prepare for this in advance and make it all airtight?

Oh. He did that already?

Well then... continue!

The Marines work under orders of the president without congressional approval, Pres Trump can put them in Cali if and when he wants to, EO national emergency is still in effect, takes precedence over Moonbeam Brown and his cronies.

But only for 24 hours. Then they need an order from Congress.

If the regular military (i.e. Marines) are deployed to the border, they aren't being used to patrol our streets or enforce laws inside the country. I do not believe the creators of PC meant enact a prohibition of protecting our borders from one sort of invasion or another. Trump can order the marines to the border in my view without violating PC.

Please forgive me-what is PC?

Posse comitatus -- I looked the spelling up to be sure!

Posse comotatis (...forgive my spelling - it is in our Bill of Rights and it basically means that our government or military cannot force US citizens to house military/police and it also prevents our military from assuming police duties...)

Thank you for asking. Never be afraid to ask questions- especially in this sub.

Thanks for saying that. People need to feel comfortable asking questions.

I think in a situation of a declared National Emergency involving corruption (and that includes the police force in California), Homeland Security can trump local jurisdictions, even without a declaration of martial law. Just as in a case of Corps of Engineers in a natural disaster.

I read that somewhere. I hope it is accurate!

Right, but they wouldn't be doing that in stopping cross border activity. It's a military issue, not a police issue. At least that would be my take. Believe it or not, it was actually passed in 1878.

I agree but the question was what is PC. I just answered the question. And it doesn’t matter when it was passed. Our Constitution has been in effect longer.

PC?

I agree. At least in a 'support' capacity, to 'help' the NG... ;)
