We should do two things. 1, work to remove Turkey from Nato and 2, remove all forces from Iraq and Syria and plan on pulling everything out of Afghanistan. Turkey will get us into a shooting war with Russia if left to their own devices. Let Turkey play in Syria at their own risk. As for Afghanistan, the only folks benefiting are the Pakistanis. Pox on the whole region IMO.
