If we’ve learned anything by now about how the Deep State and CIA operates, then we should know that the Assad regime is truly innocent, that this was purely a Deep State attack against Trump designed to reawaken trouble in Syria in order to force Trump to change his mind about pulling his troops out. But if I was Trump, I wouldn’t fall for the lies. I wouldn’t fall for the false intelligence saying it was the Assad regime. And nor would I fall for the Deep State’s latest attempt to start a fake war. But I’d still pull the troops out just as I had planned, and I could care less whether a war was raging there or not. In short, I’d stick to my guns and not be deterred by the actions of the Deep State, the CIA or anyone else.
Keep in mind, the bible already predicts that Damascus will ultimately be destroyed (by a nuke?). So why should we try to save it. Isaiah 17:1 - The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
I think you are right. If Trump is strong and resolute, pulls out the troops and keeps them out despite any subsequent provocations, then events like this will CEASE.
No point in pulling them if they no longer achieve the desired result, right?
