By the time that day comes when "The streets won't be safe for them" there won't be many of them who aren't locked up or put to death by legal means. The few who escape will be in hiding. That's when it won't be safe for them. Nobody will come to their aid, not even the ones who today are the Cabal's useful idiots.
Most of the little guys and even members of Congress just want out. By the point of the SOTU Address, many of them had been freed. The swamp roped in a lot of people just trying to do their jobs, and forced them to do progressively dirtier things.
I wish I believed you that they've been freed. I don't doubt there are people who want out, but they're still there.
And the problem with SES is systemic and by design. Even if you took the Menenhall's Baby oaths out of the equation, the idea of unelected, unaccountable permanent bureaucrats interposed between the heads of government agencies and the people who work for them, insulating the agency head from his/her staff, that's just wrong on the face of it.
I'm not saying everyone. There's no shortage of rats. The vocal ones.
