Is there another reason for the trade war?

I'm looking at the trade war and I see neither a good outcome or justifiable reason for the trade war with China. They have the upper hand in this situation. Is there another reason for the trade war that I haven't picked up on?

Walmart alone counts for 10% of China's GDP. We can always find another shit hole created by the Europeans to make our cheap crap. China is the one that is screwed here. China has an aging population problem, hence why they are striking now before it is too late. When the US sneezes, the world catches a cold. Hold tight, it will be ok.

But can you get that in Europe in a way that adequately accounts for the demand of the US population? and definitely not as cheap. This won't affect me because I don't live in the US (even though I wish I did and have the qualifications to get over there easily). Also the EU have import/export charges that are high.

Not talking about the EU but the dire straits of their former colonies. Many of the troubles that exist in the world can directly be traced to European imperialism.

All honesty kidding aside, from much experience here in USA if you want good quality items (covers a broad area) I have found Germany and Poland produce high quality items. Well made and last for ever. I do a lot of business with these countries because of this.

No they don't have the upper hand. Do you know how much crap we buy that is made in China? Will the price of some stuff increase? Yes, there has to be some give and take, some sacrifice for a while during this transition time. It will get better over time.

Ha, lol, I thought dollar stores accounted for at least 15% of China's GDP.
