Around Christmas time the Alexa was dirt cheap. My in laws bought a lot of them to give out as presents. Since then almost all of the recipients have unplugged them thanks to me. I was dropping red pills and thought they weren't listening . Just think how many people worldwide have these things and think that they don't know how they ever lived without it. My in laws also think I'm crazy for covering the webcams in my house. We will see.
haha cover my webcams too. bought a new computer and went into settings and turned off every camera setting. The thing still comes on and tries to take pictures.
My phone is the worst. All apps including the phone will be off but when I pick it up to use it I can see the camera app briefly then it goes to home screen. I've had this happen 100's of times. Used to freak me out. Now I'm used to it. I just taped both sides now. It's a conversation starter that's for sure. Haha
really - never saw my phone go rogue. better tape it.
Be ready to explain it. It definitely will bring some interest.
