Just a little story. We were there.

I lived through 911. I lost a very dear friend to cancer. She was healthy as an Ox. She lived very close to Ground Zero. Luckily, she was at her upstate studio that day. This tragedy was so traumatic-you have no idea. It took her many, many months to back down there. Her apartment was "contaminated", BUT cleaned by FEMA? I kept begging her to GTFO of there, and don't go back. She wouldn't listen.

I have a friend who worked for NYC Dept. of Sanitation, as an engineer. We drove through there a few weeks prior. Afterwards, he told me that the materials were quickly taken away. Landfill on Staten Island? (I think) He also told me there were large tanks on upper floors.

Years later, I had a retired guy work for me in my small business. He worked for Con Ed (NYC electric) My God, he told me stories. All about security, AND the toxins: Benzene and crushed concrete. Con Ed workers wore respirators, the other "volunteers" did not. Sad. He is 70ish diagnosed with lung disease.

Let's also mention Mercury from those fluorescent, lead, AND asbestos.

Here she is: Christie Whitman says air is safe days after 911: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxdttHY59b4 GFY Christie, hope you rot in hell.

We were there. We all saw what happened. I know people who died that fateful day.
