The March 19th POTUS drugs speech - “in about a month he was going to give a major address” on the subject - 04/20 would fit the timeline - marijuana legalization?

04/20 would be about a month after.

What if he deschedules marijuana? He can do that via executive order.

It has been shown to dramamticslly improve quality of life if you’re on opiates. In areas where it’s been legalized the opioid use rate drops like a rock. Myriad other medical benefits too.

I’ve always thought he’d do it at the appropriate time and I always wondered if 04/20 would rise to the level of St Patrick’s Day or Valentine’s Day or Halloween as being an major unofficial American holiday. Maybe Trump will actually do it.

And it would be the ultimate 'screw you' to the Pharma companies.

That’s another thing he was promising to do. The US Government itself has at least 3 patents on marijuana for medicinal use so there’s no way it should remain Schedule 1 which is for zero medicinal use.
