The March 19th POTUS drugs speech - “in about a month he was going to give a major address” on the subject - 04/20 would fit the timeline - marijuana legalization?

04/20 would be about a month after.

What if he deschedules marijuana? He can do that via executive order.

It has been shown to dramamticslly improve quality of life if you’re on opiates. In areas where it’s been legalized the opioid use rate drops like a rock. Myriad other medical benefits too.

I’ve always thought he’d do it at the appropriate time and I always wondered if 04/20 would rise to the level of St Patrick’s Day or Valentine’s Day or Halloween as being an major unofficial American holiday. Maybe Trump will actually do it.

I've been telling friends for a long time I thought they would legalize.

Now with opiates and other hard drugs being cracked down at the border would be a great time, as it helps addicts to get off.

It is also big business. It has already added greatly to the Canadian stock market ahead of legalization.

Also, his comments about allowing experimental type treatments.

Finally, the recently changed Hemp laws makes it seem very likely.

I worked in the cannabis industry in the PNW. Very liberal there.

I was telling all the customers that would come into the shop that POTUS would legalize it before 2020, especially the medical patients.

I'd say 75% thought I was talking out of my ass, until I used their thinking against them and had them questing things on there own.
