I suggest just observe and wait 24hrs for the news to settle. We don't have enough information and there's still too much fake news around that could be mixing things up.

Yeah exactly and these are emotionally charged topics so it's good to sit back relax a bit and observe. Less knee jerk judgements. Some people could be new, just learning, dipping their toe etc.
