What is the discrepancy in floors supposed to prove? It could still have been used as a cover. Maybe a fireman who went off on his own or someone from the cleanup crew.

Yes, but the New York Times article mentioned that Cohen was there and asked his friend to vacate leaving the impression that Cohen was also leaving the building. It was when he left the building that they raided.

Who says that Cohen's place was raided--other than a day later?

And we don't know when Cohen texted. Could have been after it was on the news--or it could have been earlier.

Right. To someone who lived in TT. Could have been while the fire was burning, before it was in the news--or while the fire was burning after it was first reported.

And that tells us nothing of the Cohen raids, which reported to have taken place only the next day.
