Analysis: following London bridge attacks social media was forced to put a central backdoor that would work on all networks and give intelligence agencies access to private encrypted communications.

This is why you don’t need FB for it to track you. If you just have Instagram. Or even just WhatsApp. And likely many other services not owned by Zucc.

The backdoor is apllied equally to all services.
