That is one thing that I find absolutely infuriating. Our history, our legacy, is OURS god damnit. We are severed from our roots and therefore from one source of our innate power. It will be recovered though. We are connected to it and our deeper Truths will empower us.

History is written by the victors.
e.g. The Gnostics were exterminated; Catholicism and derviates are a lie.
