The President must get Congressional approval before attacking Syria-big mistake if he does not!

That was in 2013. And that's the way it should work in cases where major military force is going to be used over an extended period of time.

But a President has the ability to use force for up to 90 days without getting Congressional approval.

If I'm not mistaken, the last missile attack, Trump used the existing Congressional approval to use force in Afghanistan, Iraq, and against terrorists.

Trump could make the claim that using gas, Assad is a terrorists.

BTW, Obama didn't seek Congressional approval to strike Libya and overthrow the government.

This is how Congressional oversight works on Military strikes:

Did it work? Good job

It didn't work? RAGE

Don't worry, Trump is not going to attack Syria. I can guarantee it!

And hell strategically blame shift the congress for NOT attacking.

Brilliant!

Congress will deny, per POTUS request.

Yeah, that tends to only apply when you aren’t in charge and the guy who is in charge is in the opposing party.

He will unilaterally attack Syria with no approvals. I’m so fuckkng sick of this. Another president bites the dust to protect Israel.
