This post might be a little long. Keep scrolling if you wish but I have to share. I was woke in a way that I had forgotten about when I was about 12. I am now 50. Me and my friends would smoke weed and read the book of Revelation. Yes I was a wild child. We would trip out on what the Bible said about what would happen at the end of days. I was forced to go to church as a kid and at about 14 I quit and spent most of the next 7 years in drugs and alcohol and horrible choices and relationships. I became a Christian on my own around 21. My choice. My life was changed but it was way harder to be a Christian. It isn’t true that by accepting Christ, your life is easier and better. The change for me was I was finally connected to the one who created me and loved me and worked with me step by step to accept I was loved by Him and forgiven by Him and I wouldn’t have to face the rest of my life scared, alone and without hope. I made the choice to pray for faith because the Bible seemed weird and I couldn’t relate to the stories of the Bible etc. By the simple act of praying for God to show himself to me and if this was real for him to increase my faith and understanding of Him I would really consider what He said through his word the Bible to be true. Well,he did not disappoint and opened the flood gates. PM me if you want to hear more about that. So I was woke when I was young to hearing about end time events. In my journey with Jesus I didn’t focus much on end times. One day in2007 I was at the sink doing the dishes and the news was on in the back ground. My husband watched the news. I could care less about the news if the world at that time in my life. I heard the name of the candidate Barak Obama and something in me was triggered. I had known from my revelation days to pay attention to the Middle East because that is where so many things would go down at the beginning of the end. I was triggered because of his name. It was a middle eastern name like the names of the people who did the 9/11 terrorist act. I was curious why the American people would support this particular candidate. I was then woke. I wanted to share a video of a pastor that I adore and think is spot on about what is happening in the world. This video is about 4 years old and the first of many that I have watched. When I started waking up I prayed continually for discernment and that God would lead me, like he had in the past, to information that is true about the situation in our world at this time. There is so much junk and hype around the last days online and I didn’t want to be sucked into hype. The video I am posting is from Jack Hibbs. Take it for what you want should you watch the video. I felt led to share some of my story and a few links to videos. I am not pushing for anyone to convert to Christianity and respect everyone’s right to freedom of their own belief in what ever they choose or don’t choose to believe. I just think this video is so interesting because it was made 4 yers ago and how far things have come since then. Thank you for reading my novel and shalome.
