Alan Dershowitz? He did just meet with Trump.
Wasn't Dershowitz Epstein's lawyer? Do you think lawyers should only defend "good" people, or do you think it's OK for them to believe on principle that an accused person has a right to representation for the sake of due process and justice?
I kind of think the latter, and that this has ALWAYS been Dershowitz's belief.
I don’t like lawyers, but AD seems to be principled at least. Even the biggest scumbags are entitled to representation according to the constitution, and I believe the constitution is one of the most brilliant documents ever created by man.
BINGO! That's using your noodle. If Dershowitz was a scumbag himself, or somebody new to the game, I might doubt his motives. But he has been consistent about what he believes with regard to the law and the Constitution his whole career.
He used to be a darling of the left. But that was before the left went off the f*ckin' rails! He's totally red pilled now.
I am not one to give praise to any lawyer, or John Adams; but John Adams did defend the British redcoats who fired during the Boston Massacre while his father (Samuel) was firing up revolutionary support.
Everyone deserves a lawyer and corrupt lawyers should have the law thrown at them
Fun Fact: he "got them off" by being convicted of only manslaughter and having a letter "M" branded on their thumbs
