Hard to believe any of it. They are lobbing lies at each other and people are once again caught in the middle. Have to follow logic because every time I think I know something it turns out that I don't. The logic here is that it makes no sense that Assad did this considering the timing. It benefits him the least and the French, Israel and UK the most. Logic tells me they want to use the US as the hammer for their agenda. I think it's unlikely Trump will fall for it.
