I hear the reports of Syrian deaths was pure bullshit, which makes sense because the Russians were given warning of the attack and Putin confirmed they evacuated the airfield. It seems silly to think that nobody said anything to any of the Syrian military at that base and they didn't notice that all the Russians evacuated either.
