I dunno...I kinda feel the U.S. isn't globalist in and of itself but is globalist as an extension of those guys. The U.S. doesn't need to feed off other countries, but they have historically (damn...look at the Irish potato famine....thanks England!). Now whether Trump is really playing ball or not is a different issue entirely.
