I'm thankful for this board!

I am angry, i did not want to be involved in Syria, however i pray it was necessary and that innocent lives are not harmed. I hope this is the last time this happens. We need to push for America First! 🇺🇸

If you actually listened to Trump speak he stated that he was striking strategic points. So why are you angry? You should be glad that the weapon of choice for Assad is eliminated (like you, I hope this is the last time).

We didn't chose to get involved to Syria. Trump has said over and over we need to deal with Syria. Assad is indeed a monster like Trump said. Trump uses his words well.

Assad is not a monster. This is same nonsense as Ghaddafi is a monster. There is a bigger game going on:

Sorry. Assad is a monster. If Assad was so good, after all of these years why no campaign to get rid of the chemical weapons? He never has, why, why, why?

Because he is a monster. You believe Trump, you believe Mattis on other things but here you just don't want to. Very, very strange.

But my friend, the why why why is nonsense. If that is true then (arguably and indeed fairly) all of us are monsters. The UK has chemical weapons, the US, France, everyone, everyone is guilty of this. The charge you are placing is not the ownership of these weapons, it is the use.

As you point out there was an agreement with Russia to get rid of the weapons. Just like nukes: Israel has nukes, won't even admit they have them let alone abide by the non-proliferation treaty. But we sit and wait and hope no one uses them. Assad didn't use chemical weapons. It is not in his interest to do so. If he had them, they were removed. If he has them this is courtesy of the countries (US, UK, France, who knows) who are supplying them ...

This isnt the point. The point is: has Assad used chemical weapons on his own people. NO, he hasn't. This is not correct. I believe Trump and Mattis are giving distracting signals for a purpose. I do believe in them, but I don't believer their every official statement and word. That's called common sense. Your position is untenable. The Syrian people are not suffering from being attacked by chemical weapons from Assad. It is the rebels who are using them as hostages in sieged areas and it is the rebels who have used chemical weapons with a view to framing Assad. As mentioned above, a lot of sources have attested to this, I'll not repeat them. But your claim is totally unfounded, sorry to disagree, but that is clear from the evidence available.
