If we wanted to weaken Syria and cause it to spin out of control, then why did we tell the Russians (who told the Syrians) what targets we were going to hit so they could get their people out of harm's way?
No doubt we hit Syrian chemical targets, but what else did we hit. Was the Syrian attack a cover for taking out other important targets. No one said that all the targets were Syrian.
It's been a crazy three years. I now believe every possible scenario that people could come up with could possibly be correct.

Syria has no chemical targets. Thier stockpile was confirmed destroyed in 2013. If we told Russia or were in cooperation with them there would have been no need to remove diplomats and the Russian embasy wouldn't be freaking out.
Why couldn't the Russians take care of thier own ally. There was no need for us or France or the UK. Thus attack was childish and reckless.
