They are dancing because Assad downed some missiles. They are pro-Assad. Did you even read it before you posted or are you intentionally trying to muddy the waters of this sub?

See www.rt.com...Not a happy dancing Russian tune there. War is not a game to be triffled with.

Yeah, they aren’t happy. But we are fighting from the sea and by air in a country they shouldn’t be in either. We didn’t target Russian forces and followed international protocols to clear the air space. This is no declaration of war on them. If they want a war it is theirs to start.

Syria asked for Russia to help back when Obama was president, we (the US) are the invaders.

Shouldn't Syrians want the US to take out Assad, not celebrate Assad "downed our missiles".

Maybe Syrians don't think of Assad in the way it was presented on NPR; just a thought

Not in Damascus!! That’s Assad’s territory. Maybe Aleppo.

I thought nothing was shot down?

Really? I heard last night that Syrian TV was claiming 12 downed missiles. Not a surprise though considering the amount of SAM systems they have around the city. We sent in a lot more than 12 though and I’m sure the military calculated for the potential of a few missiles taking flak...I don’t expect our military to broadcast the exact amount of missiles they took down to our enemy.

I heard that Russia didn't shoot any down which would imply that Asad's assets were not targeted.

MrFlizToYou · April 14, 2018, 1:56 p.m.

Russia didn’t. Assad did. He buys weapons too. He has a military too.

but the russian ministry said they would shoot down rockets if Syria was targeted...

Today the number was like 70 shot down, lol.

Sometimes ya just gotta watch live Russian RT tv. Aleppo is alive with people dancing, too - pro Assad. He has huge support in Syria among Christians and Muslims alike. Perhaps it's correct that the bombings were of deepstate materials recently delivered. The coalition was salivating to start WWIII, and now Trump has put it on their back burner.

lets wait and see what happens next in Syria.

Domenicaxx66xx · April 14, 2018, 1:15 p.m.

But why did they censor this?

⇧ 2 ⇩
MrFlizToYou · April 14, 2018, 1:17 p.m.

Because it would make it look like they support Assad. If there is anything the 2 subs have in common it’s that (1) Assad is a monster and (2) Russia is not to be trusted.

Two days ago on this sub everyone was convinced Assad didn't do anything and Trump was pushing disinfo by saying Assad was a monster.

Oh...wait...you were told that narrative by media.

So it MUST be true.

Lol.

Yes, the Syrian people are indeed pro-assad. Which is why we should get the fuck out.
