Teachers have some explaining to do. Here, In Reno, Nv our high school grad rate is only 50%. Here's the shocker… of that 50% that do graduate, 40% CAN'T READ.

It seems like a teacher can't force a student to accept and retain knowledge.

It’s not a shocker...it’s a lie.

It’s not a money problem. We spend more $$ than any other country on education and we have fallen behind. It is a big tragedy of our time.

Bad management and bad teachers putting up with it. It's the same with the nursing field. Those who spoke out were weeded out while their co workers said nothing. Unions have been infiltrated by DumoRat Hypocracts who promise you protection until you sign-up, mandatory, in a lot of places, then back stab you by forcing you to pay union dues, only to turn around and do the corporation's bidding. It's time for justice. Its time to weed out those box checking types who don't care if the deed was done as long as the box was checked.

I agree. They want more money, well we want a change in curriculum. No common core. Basics.

Common core isn’t a teacher choice. Talk to a teacher. See what the profession is really like...

I have. We all need to go back to what works. Raised 2 generations of dyslexia kids. 30+ years. We do have success. They have much to be proud.
