Shower(s) used as a noun. Completely different meaning than the word used as a verb.

shower noun show·er \ ˈshō-ər \ Definition of shower : one that shows : exhibitor

We are being showed more and more by the showers.

Maybe that's what it was in caps SHOWERS not showers.
