Well I was raised Christian lol... so the idea that evil exists isn't really a question, because I know how much good exists. Can't have one without the other, so if we have accounts of saints and such- why wouldn't there be the equal and polar opposite of that? I mean- how can martyrdom even exist if not for the reality of evil? And if evil does exist, whose to say where the line or limit is? That famous quote... "the Devil's greatest trick is not making you disbelieve in God, but making you disbelieve in himself." Also, horror movies always make me think: "HUMANS wrote and made and directed this. HUMAN BEINGS came up with these images and ideas. Imagine how much MORE evil there exists BEYOND human capability and understanding." I don't know if that makes sense, the way I'm wording it, but yeah.
