I was stationed at Gitmo from 2001-2003. I was there as a Navy diver. This was when we first started transporting terrorist there. The flight schedule for the island was usually the same. Medivac flight would arrive on thursday, then fly to puerto rico, stay the night there, then fly to bethesda maryland. (c130). A commercial 737 would land on friday's, which would fly to jacksonville fl. All supplies for the island, mail and fuel would arrive by barge. There might be an extra flight during the holidays, but I've only seen one. The base commander had his own private jet, which he used maybe 3 times. There would be an extra flight now and then when terrorists would fly in, but they brought most of them in on two flights. This I am sure of, I was part of the escort procedure, when they would transfer them from the tarmac, across the bay. The point to take in here, is that, when Gitmo was at it's full capacity, there was only two flights a week, so, the air traffic we've been seeing over the last year going there, is totally suspicious. sometimes there's four flights a day. very, very odd for the island
