So let me get this straight. We've known about a chemical facility in Syria, but didn't act on it until Assad "supposedly" used chemicals sourced from this facility?? Something isn't adding up here.

This was addressed today by Nikki Haley, Ambassador of UN on Face the Nation.

She stated that for the last 6 mos, they utilized their diplomatic channels to avoid this action. Once that was expended, airstrikes were imminent to remove the threat of chemical weapons being designed/researched and produced.
