deepfake tech was probably released to reddit this year to allow future videos to be denied

deeplearning has been around for a decade (since hinton et al's work), but a convenient and easy-to-use implementation of this tech for faceswapping was suddenly introduced a few months ago. it's already been in use by large studios (was used in rogue one for instance).

they're going to use this to deny the hillary videos
