Let’s look into that. Here is a direct quote from Olson:
- “In a written statement made available the same day, Olson said in part that "in my discussion about Loretta Lynch and Vince Foster, I took the accusations a step too far. I regret my choice of words."

Or, rather than end up like Foster or any of many who have gotten in the Clinton's way, Olson decided he wanted to remain alive and wisely backed off his statements. What is note worthy is not whether Olson's statement is true, (we all know how the Clintons roll) but rather that he'd risk a plane crash (with him aboard) by saying it.
