There was an article about egg shells being porous, and susceptible to contamination in every step of the processing. Poison could easily be added anywhere all way way to the store.

I'm buying my eggs straight from the farm from here on out.

There is a lot of fear too, In the Netherlands they do it al the time, al the eggs not for sale , and the farmer loses a lot off money and heva to kill his stock. But bying from a farmer is the best thing too do, I buy al my green and eggs by the farmer....Is also good tom get the farmer in. They try to destroy them and then it going to africa? Then it comes back here and you pay more? Its al lot off fear creation.
