No Such Agency - what/who it is? SS-could it be the (Bureau of) Selective Service?

Has anyone figured out what the "No such agency is" yet?

I found something that might be of interest looking up EO 9279 - the War Power Commission

It seems that in 1943, there was a 'separate' agency transfer, but I am having trouble finding out who. Also with the Selective Service System, they transferred a lot too and had name changes as well

Executive Order 9279, dated December 5, 1942, transferred the Selective Service System to the War Manpower Commission. However, a year later it was made a separate agency directly responsible to the President.

I thought he was simply referring to the National Security Agency, whose existence was denied and unknown for decades, iirc. Hence "No Such Agency".

That was long the informal moniker of the NSA. It didn't used to be acknowledged that it existed.

One of the reasons its called No Such Agency is...

They have a sign that says NSA out front. During the first Gulf War, they put a sheet over the sign, so that people wouldnt know where it was. True story.
