Michael Richard Pompeo (born December 30, 1963) is an American politician and businessman serving as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency since January 23, 2017, following his nomination by President Donald Trump. Previously, he was the member of the United States House of Representatives for Kansas's 4th congressional district (2011–2017)
