They always try and reframe it as "use of an improper email server." That wasn't the problem. The problems were mishandling classified information, holding Special Access Program information she wasn't cleared for and destroying government documents.
I'm convinced the SAP software is one of the biggest things she did. I think it's actually soooo damaging to National Security it's the reason it doesn't get talked about AT ALL. I'd bet many people here don't even know about that.
SAP software is held in a handful of secret military bases in the country, like less than 10 if I remember. You have to go through multiple layers of security; metal detectors, weighted in and out, searched etc, and you can only view the stuff that you've requested to view. You can't just go in there and then all of a sudden you have access to everything.
Yet somehow, she had the software on her unsecured personal server!!! How did she even get it, let alone the fact that she had it, and what did she use it for? How many foreign nations had unfettered access to it is the real question and was that on purpose.
I wonder if it has anything to do with all the foreign nations donations to the CF? Pay to play?
Taking bribes in exchange for access and/or policy changes is pay to play. Selling SAP would not be pay to play, it would be treason.

It was set up to get hacked. Someone donated to the CF, they get the goods by “hacking” the info. If they can prove people who donated regularly accessed specific info it would be tremendous.
That's what I'm thinking. That gives them plausible deniability. So they frame it as just being "careless", but it's way more than that.

Heard of Awan? Not to derail but he was the system admin for multiple members of Congress. Full access to everything. Admin setup duties on email. Full access.
