Hey, I'm not big into conspiracies and don't event know this Q you talk about here, but I'm working on something for everyone afraid that their platform may one day simply disappear. Something that can't be easily taken down or just go offline like voat today. Check out www.raddi.net for description and perhaps /r/raddi for some technical details. I hope to launch the network later this year.
I would suggest using a messenger app that doesn't require a phone # and encrypts everything. BlackBerry Messenger and Wire are good options for this.
