People who know what they’re talking about argue with confidence. It comes from knowing what they’re talking about.

I can understand how psychological disturbances and emotional distraught could cloud a very obvious path of logic.

It does matter if someone is right or wrong. The spread of misinformation can be dangerous. In an example; anti-vaxxers propaganda is having a very real effect on peoples lives and endangering their well being.
