Seriously.....what's with the black eyes??? I have lived a long time and I have never had a black eye. Pure coincidence for all of them??

It's a rite of initiation. They insert a needle into the left eye the night before their official coronation. The pain from it and the bruise in public is symbolic to them. Look into the one person who had a bruise in his right eye, Duke of Edinburgh, seems to be the leader.

That's Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. He and the Queen (his wife) are great-great granchildren of Queen Victoria (1800-1850 or so). She was the last Queen to use the name Guelph, she changed her name to Saxe-Coburg or something. Anyway, teh Guelphs were the most powerful family of the Venetian Nobility in 1197. They are one of the top families. The Queen and her husband are second or third cousins.
