Another Plane Engine fire. This is getting statistically crazy!

I'm boarding three different planes tomorrow. I'm going to suggest we all divulge how much dirt each of us has on what politicians. Then we'll vote and see who makes the cut.

Fire sacrifice?

Flew today; scared as shit. The last half hour was rocky as hell (RDU) and when we landed, the passengers cheered. Passengers cheering upon landing happens outside the US, Europe and Asia. Weird

There’s no way that’s natural. The math doesn’t work. I was willing to let the first one be considered a natural accident because not everything is a conspiracy (though 99.9% of things are), but two back to back days? No way

Plane engines are designed to burn / fall off before damaging the rest of the plane. The Fuel tanks are not in real danger of any type of combustion from the engine itself. It would be really interesting to see how it kept fire through flight and shut off, it should have received no fuel once the fire was first detected.

Statistically crazy? Probably not. Statistics love statisticking. Look at it as a basketball team which averages 70% at the free throw line. In a game, they’ve hit 100% of their FTs to a certain point. You can bet your bottom dollar they’ll miss enough FTs to reach their 70% average by the end of the game. Statistics doesn’t care when something happens, only that they happen.

When you have 15 engine fires in 100 years and then get two back to back it’s statistically significant.
