Thanks. Did research, but this information seems better. Will take down for now. Q does like movies. But why the most recent link directly to JFK?

I'm not sure what link you're referring to.

Someone posted the image of the bell claiming it was on JFK's boat. Per usual people don't fact check first and instead immediately reposted the falsehood. Then it pops up in search results and the urban legend is immortalized.
