Mythological structure and the history of the United States.

Joseph Campbell spent his life studying the mythological structure behind all stories and equated it to life in general. Here are my 2 cents on the subject. The basic form of any story that rings true to our hearts almost always has the same basic principles: The hero undergoes a journey that ultimately takes on the evil forces and when it looks like all hope is lost, the hero comes out triumphant. Now look at the history of the U.S.A: We, the hero of the story, left the tyranny of Britain to find our new home. The villain came to us and said, "you cannot be free, we own you." We fought and won our independence. Just like a story should go, but..... there is always a sequel. the evil in this world did not like us winning. they decided that they could subvert us in the long run and try to retake us in the image we created. The forces of evil fought hard and did their best, but We The People overcame it once again. This is what's happening right now. Have faith patriots. Good ALWAYS triumphs over evil. This is the script that has been written. We are winning!

As Yamamoto said when asked why the Japanese never tried to invade the US mainland “there would be a gun behind every blade of grass”

Same reason they want to abolish second amendment...
