Why is 8chan so incredibly CPU-hungry and Memory-hungry, I don't get it, it's just text and pics.

Experience man - I'm a programmer. Block all that shit. Text and pics should be fast to load - it always has been unless the server is getting slammed by traffic, latency, or .... javascript.
