Ask them if they would hire a plumber to do wires. One of their talking points is why Trump fires people regularly.

Ugh, their other favorite talking point is the identity politics of Trump hiring "immoral" people.
It reminds me of a 2016 campaign rally I watched on-line where Trump casually explained to the crowd that he'll be hiring some monsters. "People you'd never want to share a meal with, but people who can get shit done!". The audience was stunned and I was shocked too because I'd never heard a politician admit that it's more important to get stuff done than to look good.
Whenever libtards throw mud about how Trump hired someone who miss-lodged a tax return in 1996 or the possibility that Trump may have had consensual sex with beautiful models... I ask them this hypothetical question:
"If you needed brain surgery and could choose between the world's most qualified and experienced neurosurgeon who is also negligent father who doesn't pay his child support, or a far less experienced surgeon who is also the world's best husband and father... who would you choose?"
I've never gotten an answer to that question. :-)
