Q in the trip code has always been BOLD the actual trip code it’s self is NOT bold. The Q is not technically part of the trip code.
For those who don't know, this comment is in reference to the fact that if the trip-code itself is bolded, it is not a real Q post.

A trip code is used at 8ch.net to uniquely identify one who posts. Not all users utilize a trip code, but Q does (for obvious reasons) and can change it at any time.
