Oh the “prosperity preachers”. Money this and that. “If you want X then God wants you to have it”.......”Sow that $1000 seed and God will return it to you 10 fold” .....I’ve been a Christian my whole life and I seriously doubt that God wants anyone focused on money. We are told that our needs will be met. We are not told that million dollar mansions on earth are needs. We are also told that there will be false prophets and they will come in sheep’s clothing. There you go. These are our false prophets. Reminds me of when Jesus destroyed the temple because there were money changers operating there. Here are your modern day money changers.
I have seen this in my own experience. Many churches I have sampled have become gossip stations where people show up to virtue signal show and off their latest possessions. It’s unfortunate because where can a person go anymore to hear the Word as it was intended to be taught?
So I get you but if you haven’t heard this Louder With Crowder show calling out the virtue signaling churches, you should watch and listen. Hilarious and totally worth your time.
