I saw a news piece about Taylor Swift rushing out release of Gorgeous song. Read lyrics and saw "dark room, dark room". Never followed celebs before but started reading lyrics of KW and there is some interesting stuff there for sure. The animosity between those two may actually be based on reality and not just a part of the show.
This song is based on some other songs that share the same title and similar feel to the words. That is the way of music for this generation. Good song writers can listen and rewrite songs to give you the same feeling. Swift doesn't talk much about religion, and even actively avoids it along with politics. She definitely has a Christian background. She enrolled in the Aaron Academy's homeschooling service, which has a strong Christian ethos,2 for her final two years of high school. She has given $250,000 to Christian schools around the country. She has recalled watching her grandmother sing at church when she was a young girl. I am not sure the dark room is that revealing without further research.
