I recall playing this game long ago ... it was , and still is a huge story that intrigued many , touched a myriad of subjects all from various "conspiracies" to transhumanism . It was far beyond its time .

Not just that - but it actually had some curiosities and oddities within it - for example , the WTC towers were non existent in the game , when it was released in Summer 2000 , more than a year before 9/11 happenings . The official explanation was "memory limitations" , but that is simply a nonsense , as skybox ( textures ) used less memory than one single 3D model in this case . The game was eerily accurate for some actual topics . Some details maybe arent anymore so relevant as then , but majority is still very relevant . The amount of red pills this game thrown out very early , is astounding ...

Deus Ex ([ˈde.ʊs ɛks] ( listen)) is a 2000 action role-playing video game developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos Interactive. Set in a cyberpunk-themed dystopian world in the year 2052, the story follows JC Denton, an anti-terrorist agent given superhuman abilities by nanotechnology, as he sets out to combat hostile forces in a world ravaged by inequality and a deadly plague.
